Project Description

A Halloween styled site for a live horror experience on the Isle of Wight called Park of the Dead.

The site was built for a series of events in October 2012 and we designed to build up interest slowly in the run up to ticket sales. Once complete, it then serves as a platform for dissemination of information via the mailing list and pages.

All the SEO of the project was pretty much web based save for some flyer distribution. The site went live on 8th August and running up to 28th a new page was added periodically. During this period social networks were used to attract interest. Tickets went on sale on the 1st of September and the event sold out within 4 days.

Due to the popularity of the event the organisers arranged for another 2 days to be made available. Via the mailing list, website and social networks these were sold out within 67 minutes of release. In August Park of the Dead had received 1,341 unique visitors with 1,909 visitors. ( Source Awstats )
